Abstract
A method for running a vehicle () that includes a combustion engine () which can selectively be connected to a driveshaft () to deliver driving force to the driveshaft () for propulsion of the vehicle (). When the vehicle () is in motion, determining whether the vehicle () is approaching a downgrade and, when it is approaching the downgrade, disconnecting the engine () from the driveshaft () before the vehicle () reaches the downgrade. Also a system and a vehicle are disclosed.
