Abstract

The present invention pertains to the use of a non-live carbohydrate containing composition, the carbohydrate being also found in livecells in association with the outer cell membrane of these cells, for the manufacture of a vaccine for protection against an infection with, the vaccine being in a form suitable for systemic administration.
