Abstract
A device for lifting and lowering the spare wheel R of a vehicle includes an actuator, having an activation portionand at least one flexible cable, operated through the actuator. A hooking elementis secured to one end of the flexible cable, for anchoring the wheel R in an adapted compartment. The device includes a safety devicewhich is adapted to signal to the user that the spare wheel has been successfully and properly anchored in the compartment
