Abstract
A tire comprising a crown reinforcing belt formed of a plurality of reinforcing plies () superposed on one another, each reinforcing ply comprising mutually parallel threads coated in a weakly electrically conducting rubber compound and making a given angle with the said circumferential direction, characterized in that one strand of electrically conducting thread () passes right through the belt at a given point, and in that a first free end () of the said strand runs along the radially external face of the said belt and that the second free end of the said strand () runs along the radially internal face of the said reinforcing belt.
