Abstract
An image processing deviceincludes a background-object reference image estimation unit, a background-object optical flow calculation unit, moving-object reference image estimation unitsand, moving-object heat-haze fluctuation calculation unitsand, and a motion correction unit. The image processing deviceis configured such that optical flow of a background object and heat-haze fluctuation of a moving-object are obtained from input images inputted in succession, partial images of the input images are moved so as to cancel the heat-haze fluctuation, and a corrected image, which has the heat-haze fluctuation upon the background object and the moving-object within the input images removed, is generated.
