Abstract
A connectorincludes: a housinginto which a cableis to be inserted; first contactshoused in the housingand having contact portionswith a short effective fitting length; and second contactshoused in the housingand having contact portionswith a long effective fitting length. Then, the first contactsare arranged on both ends in a width direction Y of the housing, and the contact portionswith the long effective fitting length of the second contactsarranged so as to adjoin insides in the width direction Y of the first contactsarranged on both ends, are engaged with engagement portionsof the cable
