Abstract
This 3D image capture device includes: a light transmitting sectionwith first and second light transmitting areasL andR; an image sensorwith a plurality of unit blocks; an imaging section; and an image processing section which generates multi-viewpoint images based on photoelectrically converted signals supplied from the image sensor. If functions representing the respective spectral transmittances of the first light transmitting areaL, the second light transmitting areaR, a first type of pixel, and a second type of pixel with respect to the wavelength λ of visible radiation are identified by TL(λ), TR(λ), T(λ), and T(λ), respectively, TL(λ)≠TR(λ) and T(λ)≠T(λ) are satisfied, and each of TL(λ), TR(λ), T(λ) and T(λ) has at least one local maximum value and at least one local minimum value within each of red, green and blue wavelength ranges.
