Abstract
Cookies differentiate users and maintain data related to a user during navigation. Cookies are used for activities such as authenticating, session tracking, and maintaining specific information about users. An embodiment facilitates a method of preserving cookies associated with a first mobile device operated by a user who begins using a second mobile device. The method includes receiving a plurality of cookies associated with the first mobile device and storing the cookies in a data store associated with a gateway server. A cookie request is received from the second mobile device and the cookies are provided to the second mobile device.
