Abstract

Disclosed is a sheet-type secondary battery having: a laminated sheath () including an inner layer () made of a thermoplastic resin and a metal layer (); and electrode terminals (), each of which is connected electrically to an internal electrode pair () and passes through a heat seal portion () of the laminated sheath () in a hermetic manner so as to be led out externally. The sheath () and electrode terminal () are bonded with a bonding resin () at portion () in which terminal () is interposed. The inner layer () of the sheath () opposed to the terminal () has an excess resin receiving portion () formed thereon for receiving an excess resin in a heat sealing process. The portion () is not formed in a heat seal portion (P) at which the inner layers () of the laminated sheaths () are bonded.
