Abstract

A writing area security system () includes a CPU (), a flash memory (), and a memory controller (). The memory controller (), when receiving a read command of data stored in the flash memory () from the CPU (), performs a parity check on the data. The memory controller () outputs the data to the CPU () only when the parity of the read data is correct.
