Abstract
A pin lock device for securing an article, including a lock base and a removable lock device that locks to the lock base. A plurality of control pins disposed in pin bores that communicate with a mounting post through tumbler channels. Alignment of recesses in the control pins releases the locking device from the post. The locking device allows the user to secure an article, such as a handgun, on the post in a secure and accessible manner.
