Abstract

A door assembly () for a vehicle, including a vehicle door () for opening and closing a door opening in the vehicle body. The door comprises a door body (), an outer cover member () which covers at least a part of the outer surface () of the door outer panel () of the door body, and a seal member (). The outer cover member comprises an outer cover body () which covers the outer surface of the door outer panel, an extension section () which is extended further toward the outside than an edge () of the door body, and a closed cross-section section () which is formed in a closed cross-sectional shape on the rear surface () of the extension section. The seal member is attached to the closed cross-section section.
