Abstract
An extinguisher identifying device. The device comprises an extinguisher identifying device and an activation device, and a communications module. The extinguisher identifying device reads an identifying element on an extinguisher to obtain identifying data of the extinguisher. The activation device is configured to activate the extinguisher identifying device in response to a predetermined event. The communications module is configured to transmit the extinguisher identifying data to a management device.
