Abstract

According to the present invention, provided is a method for producing a battery electrode employing a configuration in which a compound material layer containing an active materialand a binderis retained on a current collector. The formation of the compound material layer is carried out by a method including: a step of forming a binder solution layerby applying a binder solutioncontaining the first binderto the current collector; a step of depositing the binder solution layerand a compound material paste layeron the current collectorby applying the compound material pasteover the binder solution layer; and a step of obtaining an electrode in which the compound material layer is formed on the current collectorby drying both the binder solution layerand the compound material paste
