A photoelectric conversion element () according to the present disclosure includes: a photoanode (); a counter electrode (); a solid compound layer () disposed between the photoanode () and the counter electrode (); a charge storage electrode () disposed at an interspace from the counter electrode (); and an electrolyte medium () being contained in the solid compound layer () and filling the interspace.
