Abstract
An optical scanning device includes movable mirror () reflecting a light beam applied thereto, first beam () joined to an end of movable mirror (), second beam () joined to another end of movable mirror (), first piezoelectric element () generating stress or swinging movable mirror () through first beam (), and second piezoelectric element () generating stress for swinging movable mirror () through first beam (). First and second piezoelectric elements () have respective patterns whose longitudinal directions are aligned with a longitudinal direction of first beam (). First and second piezoelectric elements () are disposed on a support plate () which is joined to the first and second beams () and with an insulative distance being present between first and second piezoelectric elements ().
