Abstract
In a first method step for cleaning a ballast bed () of a track (), the ballast () picked up from a bedding section () adjoining sleepers ends (), after having been cleaned, is introduced underneath the track () immediately after the removal—carried out in a second method step—of the ballast () located underneath the sleepers.
