Abstract
A method for sharing or jointly using a GERAN (GSM EDGE Radio Access Network) mobile radio access network by at least a first mobile radio network operator and a second mobile radio network operator includes providing a radio access network for joint use by the at least first and second mobile radio network operators, wherein the radio access network provides at least a first radio frequency channel and a second radio frequency channel, the at least first and second radio frequency channels having each a TDMA frame (Time Division Multiple Access frame) with eight time slots (TSto TS), and associated dedicated time slots of the radio access network with the mobile radio network operators.
