Abstract
A solid electrolyte battery using a solid electrolyte capable of realizing high conductivity, and a process for producing a solid electrolyte battery are provided. The solid electrolyte battery is structured as a laminate of a positive electrode collector layer, a positive electrode active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a negative electrode active material layer, and a negative electrode collector layer formed in order on a substrate. The solid electrolyte layer is a thin film formed of a compound of the formula LiM0(M =V, Nb, Ta, or Db).
