Abstract
There is provided manganese oxide having a pore volume fraction of no greater than 20% for pores with diameters of 10 μm or greater, as measured by mercury porosimetry, and a tap density of 1.6 g/cmor greater, and a method for producing it. There is also provided a method for producing a lithium manganese composite oxide using the manganese oxide.
