Abstract
A support ring () and a piston ring () that are arranged in a peripheral groove () provided on a piston body (), the axial width of the peripheral groove () being greater than the total axial width of the support ring () and of the piston ring (), and the support ring () is arranged radially inwardly at a distance from the piston body (), and the support ring () is relief-milled from the piston body () as an unbroken ring.
