Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide for hydrophobic multi-component metal-organic materials (MOMs) (also referred to as 'hydrophobic MOM'), systems that exhibit permanent porosity and using hydrophobic MOMs to separate components in a gas, methods of separating COfrom a gas, and the like.
