Abstract
A shoe cleaning devicecomprises a rotatable cleaning disc, a housingfor mounting the cleaning discon, a motorfor driving the discrotatably, and an illuminatory power band, the power banditself comprising at least one light-emitting element, and at least one outer screenfor the at least one light-emitting element, the illuminatory power bandspanning a circumference of the deviceat least one of totally, substantially, in pattern, the illuminatory power bandthus being visible from all angles for a user. In a preferred embodiment, the power bandis located about a base of the housing, and may have multiple light-emitting elementsand screens. The power bandmay work in conjunction with a pressure-activated function of the shoe cleaning device. In a second embodiment which does not span a circumference of the device, the power bandis at least 16 mm in dimension, and more preferably at least 25 mm.
