Abstract
An image forming apparatus registers, when certificate information has been updated, the updated certificate information in an authentication server, and after the registration has been finished, transmits an event notification indicating that the certificate information has been updated to a printer server. The printer server re-acquires cached certificate information in response to this notification, and then again caches the certificate information.
