Abstract

A meta-material () is constituted by a conductor plane () on the lower side, a conductor () on the upper side, a repeated (for example, periodic) array of conductor strips (), and conductor posts () which electrically connect each of the conductor strips () and the conductor plane () on the lower side. A power feed line () is connected to the conductor (). Openings may be repeatedly provided in the conductor plane () on the lower side. In this case, an island-shaped electrode is provided within the opening, and the conductor post () is connected to the conductor plane () through the island-shaped electrode.
