Abstract
A polymer film that includes a polymeric substrate having a first side and a second side; a back-side coating on the first side of the substrate, the back-side coating formed from at least an ionomer, an acrylic emulsion, and at least one inorganic material, said inorganic material comprising a majority of particles have a mean largest dimension in the range of 0.2 μm to 25 μm; and a polymeric surface layer in contact with the second side of the polymeric substrate is described. Articles, such as labels, and methods of making films and labels are also described.
