Abstract
A method of preparing one-dimensional trimanganese tetroxide (MnO) nanoparticles from an exfoliated two-dimensional manganese dioxide (MnO) nanosheet using a solid-state decomposition method, and MnOnanoparticles prepared according to the method are provided. The MnOnanoparticles can be prepared at a very low temperature without using an organic solvent or a chemical additive, compared to conventional synthesis methods.
