Abstract

The invention relates to a thermoplastic tank () with at least one insert part which is provided in the interior of the tank () and is inserted into the tank () through an opening () in a tank wall () and is sealed against a peripheral flange () provided in the region of the opening (). The flange () is formed integrally with the tank wall () and is countersunk therein.
