Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for the purification of Micafungin. Specifically, a method is provided in which a micafungin starting material containing a first micafungin salt is adsorbed to a solid support, the adsorbed micafungin is washed with an aqueous solution comprising a dissolved second salt, the second micafungin salt is eluted using a water miscible organic solvent.
