Abstract

A cleansing composition comprising (A) an anion surfactant, (B) a glyceryl ether having an alkyl group or alkenyl group with from 4 to 12 carbon atoms, (C) a cationized hydroxypropyl cellulose represented by the following formula (1) wherein R, Rand Reach independently represent a substituent having a cationized ethyleneoxy group and a propyleneoxy group and n represents a number of from 20 to 5000, which represents an average polymerization degree of anhydroglucose, and wherein the substitution degree of the cationized ethyleneoxy group is from 0.01 to 3, and the substitution degree of the propyleneoxy group is from 0.01 to 5, and (D) water.
