Abstract
An LCD device () includes a liquid crystal display panel () and a liquid crystal driving section () for driving the liquid crystal display panel () from a region with a lower temperature to a region with a higher temperature in in-screen temperature distribution of the liquid crystal display panel () in operation. This configuration allows a scan direction () in which the liquid crystal display panel () is driven to correspond to temperature distribution direction () from a portion with a lower temperature to a portion with a higher temperature. As a result, image quality of images to be displayed by the general-purpose liquid crystal display panel () is improved.
