Disclosed herein is astrain,sp. isolate F727, that produces metabolites with pesticidal activities. Also provided are bioactive compositions and metabolites derived from cultures ofsp. isolate F727 capable of controlling pests; as well as methods of use of the strain and its metabolites for controlling pests.
