Abstract

An HSScalculates a ratio (cell search time-period distribution ratio) of a time period for searching a cellconfigured by an LTE base stationto a time period for searching a cellconfigured by a W-CDMA base station, and transmits a cell search time-period distribution ratio response including the cell search time-period distribution ratio, to a UE. When the UEreceives the cell search time-period distribution ratio response, the UEsearches the celland the cellaccording to the cell search time-period distribution ratio included in the cell search time-period distribution ratio response.
