Abstract
Methods, apparatus, and articles of manufacture to identify media presentation devices are disclosed. A disclosed example method to identify a media presentation device includes intercepting, using a processor in communication with a local network, a data packet comprising a source identification, the data packet being addressed to a destination in a wide area network and originating from a media presentation device in the local network, identifying a device type of the media presentation device based on the source identification, and storing the device type and an indication of media exposure.
