A mobile electronic communications deviceis at least partially covered or encased in a composite housingand. The composite housing can have at least one conductive housing portionandcomprising a conductive material and at least one non-conductive housing portionandcomprising a non-conductive material. Preferably, the non-conductive housing portion is positioned in proximity to an antenna, a battery dooror cover for a battery, in the mobile electronic communications device.
