Abstract

The invention concerns a method, uplink traffic control device and computer program product for reducing the delay of uplink communication between a mobile station and a wireless communication network. The uplink traffic control device () comprises an uplink scheme determining unit () configured to obtain a service type indicator associated with a mobile station and determine an uplink transmission scheme based on the obtained service type indicator and a transmission control unit () configured to periodically grant transmissions to be made from the mobile station according to the uplink transmission scheme in order to speed up mobile station transmissions to the wireless communication network.
