Abstract

Disclosed is a blowing device () for forming containers () from thermoplastic material preforms. The device () includes a blowing nozzle () including a bottom outlet opening () for a pressurized blowing fluid to leave along a vertical outlet axis () and a single duct () for supplying the nozzle () with blowing fluid that leads into the nozzle (), via a top supply opening (), along an axis that is completely radial relative to the outlet axis (A) of the nozzle (). The blowing device is characterized in that the upstream end section of the supply duct () leads into the nozzle () along a branching axis (B) that forms an obtuse angle (a) with the outlet axis (A) of the nozzle () such that the blowing fluid leaving the supply duct () is directed downward.
