Abstract

The invention relates to a method in a source radio base station () for enabling a handover of a connection to a user equipment () from a source cell () to a target cell (). The source radio base station () serves the source cell () and is comprised in a radio communications network (). The source radio base station receives () at least a first segment of a measurement report from the user equipment (), which measurement report indicates received signal power of signals of neighboring cells. The source radio base station then determines () a transmission time of the segment of the measurement report and compares () the transmission time with a predefined time threshold value. When the transmission time has exceeded the time threshold value, the source radio base station determines () whether to perform the handover based on the at least first segment of the measurement report.
