Abstract
To provide a network camera and a network camera system in which an image can be securely distributed to a designated distribution recipient. A network camera systemconnected to a communication networkand having a network cameraand a plurality of PCs, the network cameracomprising an image pickup sectionfor picking up the image, a sending and receiving sectionfor distributing the picked up image to the PC, an image sending monitoring sectionfor monitoring whether or not the picked up image is distributed to the designated PCamong the plurality of PCs, and an accumulation memoryfor accumulating the picked up image when the distribution of the image to the designated PCis interrupted, and the PCcomprising an image receiving sectionfor receiving the picked up image distributed thereto.
