Abstract

A process for treating a crude and natural gas stream, which at least comprises the steps of: (a) passing a crude and natural gas stream () through an inlet () into a stabilization unit () to provide a stabilizer content (); (b) passing an overhead gaseous stream () separated from the stabilizer content () through a first outlet (); and (c) passing a bottom stream () comprising crude liquid hydrocarbons separated from the stabilizer content () and free water through a second outlet ().
