Abstract

A refrigerant system includes an outdoor unit and a plurality of indoor units. The outdoor unit has a compressor and a plurality of heat exchangers and each indoor unit has a heat exchanger. A detector detects pressures at an inflow side and a discharge side of the compressor, and a controller controls a direction of refrigerant flow for the heat exchangers of the outdoor unit. This may involve changing the refrigerant flow direction for at least one of the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit based on the detected pressures.
