Abstract

A cladding panel for floors has a groove () along at least one edge or end face () and a tongue () along at least one other edge or end face (). The cross-sections of the tongue () and the groove () are matched to one another and the panels () being connectable by inserting the tongue () into the groove (). On at least one wall surface () of the groove () and/or on at least one tongue surface (), at least one bead () of cement is applied. On the tongue surface () there is a bead () that faces the wall surface () of the groove (), the wall surface is also provided with a bead (). The two beads () are locked to one another after insertion of the tongue () into the groove (). In other embodiments there may be additional beads () and () on the surfaces of the tongue () or groove (), or positioned within recesses ().
