Abstract
The present invention relates to abrasive grain agglomerates composed of fine-particle primary abrasive grains which are held together by means of a binder based on an aluminosilicate having a molar ratio of AlOto SiOof from 1:2 to 1:20. The particular advantage of these abrasive grain agglomerates is that the binder cures fully at below 450° C., preferably below 400° C., to form abrasive grain agglomerates having an extraordinarily high strength.
