Abstract
The invention relates a belt tensioner () for a seat belt system comprising a tensioner tube () for receiving and guiding a pressurizing element () as well as a separate generator housing () for receiving a gas generator (), wherein a coupling element () tightly connecting the generator housing () to the tensioner tube () is provided.
