Abstract

A shed-forming device has elastically deformable selection elements () ()-() which can be placed in an undeformed position or in a deformed position, electromagnetic selectors () which can be actuated in order to place or keep each selection element () in successive weaving cycles in one of said positions, and presenting means () in order to mechanically deform selection elements () in the direction of a selector () in each weaving cycle into a presenting position in which they are kept at a distance from the selector () by a stop (), and also relates to a method for positioning selection elements of a shed-forming device in this manner.
