Abstract
A high voltage device includes a circuit boardsurrounded by an enclosure, pottingto provide electrical insulation between the circuit boardand the enclosure, and a layer of material, having a different resistivity than a resistivity of the potting, dividing the potting into separate and discrete sections. The layer of materialcan be multiple layers. Each layercan have a voltage applied, and a voltage of any layercloser to the circuit boardcan have a higher absolute value than any layerfarther from the circuit board
