Abstract
A noise removal unitexecutes noise removal and flooring processing of an input signal, and a density calculating unitcalculates, as to a point of interest on a time-frequency plane of the input signal passing through the noise removal, a density of non-flooring processing points from the presence or absence of the flooring processing of individual points around the point of interest. A partial suppression unitreplaces, when the density is less than a threshold, the power of the point of interest with its flooring value by considering it as a musical noise component, thereby suppressing the musical noise component.
