A laser source () for emitting an output beam () along an output axis (A) includes (i) a first laser module () that generates a first beam (A); (ii) a second laser module () that generates a second beam (A); (iii) a beam selector assembly (); (iv) a first director assembly () that directs the first beam (A) at the beam selector assembly (); (v) a second director assembly () that directs the second beam (A) at the beam selector assembly (); and (vii) a control system () that directs power to the modules (), (). The beam selector assembly () moves between a first position in which the first beam (A) is directed along the output axis (A), and a second position in which the second beam (A) is directed along the output axis (A).
