Abstract

A lubricating oil composition for a continuously variable transmission according to the invention includes: a base oil of lubricating oil; components (A) to (C) below: where: R, Rand Reach independently represent hydrogen or an alkyl group having 8 or less carbon atoms, R, Rand Rbeing not simultaneously hydrogen nor the alkyl group, X, X, Xand Xeach represent oxygen or sulfur, and n represents zero or one, in which when n is zero, at least two of X, Xand Xare sulfur and when n is one, at least two of X, X, Xand Xare sulfur;
