Abstract

A portable tray table () includes a base () having a support base () that carries raised ends () and a plurality of tabletop supports (). The tray () further includes a cup holder protrusion () including a sidewall () and an optional sleeve (). A tabletop () is positioned in a tabletop opening () and is secured to the base () by locking push-in fasteners (') and securing protrusions (). The tabletop () can move from a down position to an upward position to an opposite down position, and vice versa. The cup holder protrusion () is capable of fitting into an existing cup holder, particularly a cup holder on a seat back, in order to secure the portable tray () in a position for use as a tray table.
